Plague doctor mask for sale

Plague doctor mask based on a real historical mask. It is made of a medium weight veg tan leather, handstitched and hand shaped and antiqued black. It adjusts to fit most adult heads. The acrylic lenses are gray. High quality.

This mask is perfect for costume parties, Halloween, decoration, theater, performances, films, etc.

During the Black Plague, it was thought that bad smells were the cause of the plague. Plague Doctors therefore wore masks with long beak-like noses stuffed with flowers or smoke to hide the smells. If you want to enjoy a more realistic and fun experience, we recommend to introduce some kind of aromatic herb at the beak of the mask when you wear it!
